Overview | 30-Day Trial | Pricing | Learning & Training | FAQ | Downloads   Preparing to use CompuScan Before you can use CompuScan via A4 you need to follow these 5 simple steps:   Step 1: Install the CompuScan Registry Settings     Running Windows 95, 98 or ME? Run these 2 scripts: Script1 & Script2. Running Windows 2000 or XP? Run these 2 scripts: Script1 & Script2.   Step 2: Install the CompuScan DLL Files     Install the CompuScan DLL files.   Step 3: Install the necessary Windows updates     Running Windows 98 or ME? Run the DCOM98 Upgrade. Running Windows 95? Run the Visual Basic Upgrade and WinScript2 Upgrade. Windows 2000 and XP need no updating.   Step 4: Get authorization from A4 to use CompuScan      Phone us to make sure that your config file is set up for CompuScan.   Step 5: Configure the A4 program to use CompuScan   We need to configure A4 with to use CompuScan. Once in the A4 program, choose MLCB/CompuScan from the Maintenance menu. Insert your CompuScan Username, Password and Branch Code and click OK. The CompuScan Branch Code must only contain numerics (i.e. no alpha numeric characters).
